Identification

Polymorphic, with four distinct morphs occurring on Block Island; two are very similar to the two morphs of A. robinsoniana occurring on Block Island. Another is very similar to A. inana, which is somewhat similar to A. maculidorsana. Refer to the collage here to compare all eight morphs of these four species found on Block Island. Other similar polymorphic species not found on Block Island include A. hastiana and A. youngana.
