Remarks

This species was first recorded on Block Island in the 2010 bioblitz and was first found in the present survey in 2019, when a single female came to lights at the Scout property on June 26. A male was drawn to the captured female at the Hunt property on June 28, and 24 of the ~50 eggs resulting from this pairing were successfully reared on black cherry (Prunus serotina) to pupation August 1–12.
