Remarks

This species was not reported in Mark Mello's surveys within the current local flight period of the species in 1996 and 1997 but is now common in many locations from late July to early August and again in the fall. It was first reported in Massachusetts in 2012 and has been recorded many times since, mainly in the southeast of the state.
