Life History

Mainly univoltine on Block Island, flight peaking in late June and early July, with a partial second generation in August. Range of dates 31 May to 22 August with an out of season sighting 23 September 2020. iNaturalist data indicate that the species is univoltine in southern Canada and southern New England, with a flight peaking in July, and bivoltine in Maryland, with peak flight times of May to June and August.
