Life History

Bivoltine on Block Island. iNaturalist data show the species peaking in abundance in June and August from southern Canada to Maryland with a sharp dip in July from southern New England to Maryland, a trend somewhat at odds with records on Block Island, and trivoltine only along the Gulf Coast.
